No, you do not need to subscribe to use the Coach app. You can use the app to learn a bunch of free-to-play songs, download recordings from the Roadie Coach and even edit and share your recordings.
However, a paid subscription is required to unlock the full library of songs that you can learn.
The Coach app has 2 types of subscription:
Monthly for $4.99 USD
Yearly for $49.99 USD
