Roadie Coach has two built-in microphones, allowing you to capture your sound in its utmost quality. Before recording, it is recommended to perform a soundcheck. To learn how to do that, read this article.
To start recording, make sure Coach is attached to your guitar or ukulele and follow the steps below:
- Press the power button to turn on your Roadie Coach
- Tap "Recorder" on the home screen to enter the recording screen
- Press the "Record" button. Roadie Coach will give you a 3-second countdown before it starts recording automatically
- A running timer will appear once the recording starts and the VU meters will display the levels of both your instrument and vocals. Hit "Stop" to end the recording session and your recorded track will appear at the bottom of the screen
Note: You can monitor your recording live while recording by plugging your headphones in the AUX OUT of Roadie Coach.
To listen to your recordings directly on the Roadie Coach, first, plug in your headphones, and then:
- Tap the recording you want to listen to
- Hit the "Play" button
- Click on the "Mixer" icon to adjust the volumes of the different inputs as well as the overall volume
- Adjust the levels to your desire and then click the "Back" button to exit
Note: To listen to, edit and manage your recordings directly on your phone using the Roadie Coach app, read this article.
